| weblog:
the events of yester-eve need to be public.
1st: if anyone is interested in downloading LEGAL music, you can download it from me! It is totally sweet...it works like itunes, but you can have your own webpage to network and chat with your friends [amazing!]
2nd: DTH, Taylor [tots], Yoshi, and myself found it fitting to go take some cuts at the cages, batting cages. [intense] the experience has left me quite sore. several highlights are: josh's helmet was entirely too small, dth had his jeans roled up like Huck Finn, and taylor accumulated many a blister. OH YES, and a 8yr old hispanic boy was wearing a diaper filled with what: A) money B) a lamp C) a cat...or D) poop...
need i say more?
yes...
3rd: we proceeded to venture onward towards the great American establishment: CHILIS. de-lish. we dared Josh to ask the waitress for her number...after he asked for the waitress' number and she told him that she had a boyfriend, his response was simply, "c'mon, it will be fun."... a bit persistent for a dare, but nonetheless, HILARIOUS.
the evening concluded with none other than Halo 2 and Anchorman.
and that is all. i was left with only one option.

| i am finding myself clicking the "new weblog" link here at the xanga. im going to be honest, i have nothing to say.
Or maybe i do???
Ok. So i love my new surroundings. I feel like a new flower in my life has bloomed, and i am taking it in! i find myself working a lot at my new job, but its work that i absolutely love. More so than that, the people i am around are real. Although they are all older than me, they are not afraid to talk about struggles or frustrations in life. i admire that. a lot.
one more thing. the other night i was doing some translating for my Greek class, and i ran across something amazing. John 1:16 says this little nugget of joy: "For of His fullness we have all received, and grace upon grace." Pretty sweet. until i saw that the word we see as "upon" literally translates to "in place of." for some reason that hit hard. It is like a wave. Before one wave diminishes, another wave replaces. So it is with grace. Grace replacing grace.
chew on that for a bit and let me know your thoughts...

| you always hear people say that it is better to think before you take action. true. mostly. i would like to submit an idea. how about looking before you think? hard to do. really hard to do. i find it hard to simply look at something before i begin to either relate it to something i experienced earlier in life or pass criticism and judgement on it. how great could it be to examine a situation or a person or even an item without any presuppositions of that particular thing? seeing life for what it really is. try it. let me know if you are successful
